Can WavetableX Control A Blofeld?
Yes. The WavetableX app can control a Waldorf Blofeld synthesizer attached via USB.
When MIDI Output is enabled and set to the correct MIDI channel,
note output from WavetableX can be sent to a Blofeld to play any currently selected Blofeld sound patch program.
WavetableX can install wavetables and optional paired sound patch programs onto a Blofeld.
When a paired sound patch is also installed, the new wavetable is immediately playable using WavetableX,
as long as MIDI Output is enabled and set to the correct MIDI channel.
A Pro license also allows installing wavetable sets containing multiple wavetables and paired sound patch programs,
as well as optional Blofeld Multi Programs.
Does WavetableX Require An Internet Connection?
WAVETABLEX WORKS 100% OFF-LINE AND CANNOT USE THE INTERNET.
WavetableX has no need to connect to the Internet. The only case where an Internet connection is
needed is when purchasing or renewing a Pro license, in which case the default Windows browser is used to connect to the Internet, and not WavetableX.
WavetableX will determine off-line when a 1 time Pro license renewal is needed. It does not contact WavetableX.com,
or any other web services to perform this. WavetableX has no ability to connect to the Internet.

Help→Upgrade To Pro tool, does not connect to the Internet. It opens the default Window's
browser, and the default Window's browser then connects to the Internet to request purchasing a Pro license.

browser, and the default Window's browser then connects to the Internet to request a license renewal.
License Renewal
The
Renew License page integrates with the Windows WavetableX app.
The WavetableX app will notify you when renewal is available.
Use the WavetableX app's main menu
Help→Renew License tool when renewal is needed.
The
Renew License tool will open the
Renew License page with the required license details needed for renewal.
The
Renew License page will generate a final renewed Pro Forever license for the WavetableX app.
The renewed Pro Forever license will be available via a download link and emailed to you. The Pro Forever is permanent and never needs renewal.
Can WavetableX Be Used Standalone?
Yes. The WavetableX app can use used standalone. It has a 128 key virtual MIDI keyboard.
The virtual MIDI keyboard can be used to play wavetables directly in Windows.
The Pro license also allows WavetableX to receive MIDI messages from external MIDI instruments such as MIDI keyboards, sequencers, etc.
It supports 128 MIDI notes, pitch bend, and MOD wheel.
